Hello!
Jessica here. I am a photo taking nerd, painter and lover of adventures. I grew up in a tiny town of Baudette, Minnesota, on the border of Canada. I was raised to love the outdoors and to stay active in as many things as I could handle. Sports, fitness, cooking, and painting are just a few of my hobbies! I also will rarely turn down a craft beer or walk outdoors.
After graduating with a degree in Graphic Design and Business in 2014, my now husband Bryce and I moved out to Denver, Colorado. We had no plans or expectations, just two cars filled with our clothes and random belongings. After spending five and a half years in the beautiful state, we decided to move our lives a little closer to home in Minnesota at the end of 2019.
This past year was a whirlwind in the best way! We welcomed our daughter, Ozzy Jo to the world, and moved out to our new home in Saint Michael, Minnesota. I'm settling into my new job as "Mom" while still perusing my dream of photography! I'm so grateful for this career and my ability to be home with my daughter while still creating and connecting with so many incredible people and businesses.
Although I am located in Saint Micahel, traveling is my favorite. I love to capture destination weddings, engagements, and life all over the world! Traveling inspires me so much in what I do, and I find that's when I THRIVE in my creative work.
Before we work together, you should know I am not just another photographer to perfectly pose you. Don't get me wrong, I'll make sure you look amazing, but my photos won't look like your phone snaps. I'll get those real, raw, and imperfectly perfect moments. The ones that completely illustrate the way you are, and the authentic love that you share. I strive to make every photoshoot different, and that’s because everyone I work with is different!
